Monday
On the menu:
Green v-neck wool jumper (similar*)
Tasting notes:
Anyone else wake up and the first thought that pops into their mind is ‘ooo what shall I wear today?’…. I imagine I’m in good company here on fashion Substack… Monday morning, I sprung out of bed (this is happening more and more often since I switched a few things up - gym every other day & seriously limiting my alcohol intake) with this jumper front and centre of my mind. I love it with jeans but fancied something different, so went with black pants. I think what makes this look work is the brown shoe. Unexpected, softer than an all black look on the lower half. The gold details were the extra sprinkle of something to jazz up the look.
Tuesday
On the menu:
Tasting notes:
We repeat our outfits around here! You may remember this same look from last week (and last week I admitted it was a repeat of a look from the week before that!). I sometimes feel nervous about wearing the same thing and sharing that on here. I feel like if you write a weekly wardrobe diary you should be keeping it interesting, different… But that’s not very realistic. And it also doesn’t give credit where credit is due - to the pieces we know and love in our closets that we enjoy reaching for over and over again.
Wednesday
On the menu:
Navy oversized cashmere jumper (similar*)
Black leather pointed boots (similar*)
Brown suede bowling bag (similar*)
Tasting notes:
If you’ve been here a while, you will know this is my failsafe - a sweater, jeans, tee and boots. If you’re new here - prepare to see me rotate through variations of this outfit weekly. What’s not captured here? My giant COS brown suede bowling bag. I love it with navy, and I love the suede texture alongside the chunky cashmere knit. It’s very The Row Margot, and the whole look together screams effortless.
Thursday
On the menu:
Brown satin pants (similar*)
Tasting notes:
I hope you’ll excuse the next two days where I didn’t manage to get a photo, so I have added a screenshot of my outfits from Indyx (yep, I am back on Indyx after majorly falling out of love with her last year). I had a couple of crazy days at work towards the end of the week, so didn’t really see the light of day. The only time I left the house was to head to F45 for a workout. Since I had an early start at my desk, I was looking for something pyjama like, but acceptable for the meetings I was on for far too much of my day… This Reformation sweater and these UNIQLO satin pants did the trick. All the comfort I needed, while still being pretty polished due to the tones and texture. I popped in some golden hoops for a little something else to style it up.
Friday
On the menu:
Tasting notes:
I never wear outfits like this one! And that’s funny because when we moved to Berlin back in 2021, I dressed like this for a solid 6 months. I recently reintroduced the New Balance 530s into my wardrobe. I was missing a pair of chuck on and go sneakers. Admittedly I use them mainly when I am wearing workout gear, but they are dead comfy so I felt like wearing them with something other than leggings for the brief moments I managed to spend away from my laptop on Friday. I cannot say this is my favourite look of the week… It’s really not me. I felt like I was in a costume. It’s all the chunkiness. A short sleeved, tight fitting tee would have helped. Even then, I am not convinced its an outfit I would rewear.
Saturday
On the menu:
Black leather bucket bag (similar*)
Tasting notes:
Saturday we headed into central to meet my parents who were in town for the day. I had the urge to put something completely new (for me!) together when it came to my outfit. Yet, what I landed on was basically the same as Tuesday but with a different pair of jeans and flats… But even the simplest tweaks to the wash of denim and the structure of the shoe make this feel like a pretty different outfit. I love that it’s kind of tonal, but not boring. The faux fur is doing all the work, but the jeans in an unexpected wash are also pulling their weight. Love this, will absolutely wear again!
Sunday
On the menu:
Tasting notes:
Sunday’s agenda was gym, home to freshen up, out for a mooch, then back home for a lot of cosy sofa time. I decided to reach for an elasticated waistband and I just feel like that’s what Sundays are always going to be for - none of that Sunday Best nonsense over here. I layered my new UNIQLO cotton polo over a white tee. I want this polo in navy too - it taps into the rugby top trend in a way that feels me, and wearable, with longevity too. Everything felt a little flat though until I reminded myself that a Dragon Diffusion is not just for summer, its for life! And more specifically, the winter months part of your life!
I hope these looks gave you a little inspiration for the rest of the week! Let me know if you have any particular favourites, or what you’ve been loving wearing too!

I really love this weeks outfits, especially Mon & Wed!
May I ask about Uniqlo Indigo Jeans? How are you finding them, especially size wise? There is no Uniqlo store where I live, so I can't try them on and they look so good on you!! 😍
Oooh the dark red jumper with the brown satin pants is 10/10! I have a pair of brown satin pants just like that, I never thought to pair it with red.
