Monday
On the menu:
Beige oversized shirt (similar*)
Tasting notes:
I’m back! Apologies for dropping off the face of the while for a few weeks - its been a juggle! Monday morning I knew exactly what I wanted to wear for a WFH day, after seeing one of Anna Newton recent wardrobe diaries! I love the shirt over the top of a very casual base to just give it a little something - not only for when I popped out over lunch, but also felt smart enough in work video calls. A winning combo for sure!
Tuesday
On the menu:
Black jelly shoes (similar*)
Tasting notes:
Tuesday it was back to the office and back to basics. With the warm weather, I haven’t been wearing jeans & a tee all that much recently, so pounced at the opportunity with it being a tad cooler. I jazzed it up with the shoes and bag - although I don’t love how this look turned out. I would have preferred it with my black leather flip flops maybe? I think the shoes & bag are just too much together. Keep the jelly flats and go for my usual black bucket bag? That could have worked well too. Next time!
Wednesday
On the menu:
Black leather sandals (similar*)
Tasting notes:
Another day in the office, and I learned from my outfit mistakes from the day before. I kept it simple for work & a dinner date with friends straight after. I’m a millennial so it was always going to be ‘jeans & a nice top’. We headed to Tiella on Colombia Road, a fairly new Italian, and had a lovely time with friend, mostly getting giddy about an upcoming wedding we’ll be at in France! The best part of the night was certainly the company - the food was ok.
Thursday
On the menu:
Black bucket bag (similar*)
Tasting notes:
All my outfits sins from Tuesday were fully redeemed by the time Thursday came around and I have to say this is one of my fave work looks in a long while. It featured a recent purchase - this brown cotton button down I snatched in the COS sale - alongside my UNIQLO x JW Anderson jeans and a simple black leather flip flop. My statement ring, a recent ASOS purchase, has been putting in a shift recently. I feel like even though it’s patterned it goes really well with a lot of my simple outfits. Shout out to Anika Krueger who posted on IG about statement rings a couple of weeks back and off the back of that I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for fun ones to add to my pretty small jewellery collection.
Friday
On the menu:
Tasting notes:
We went to see The Odyssey on Thursday night and got home way past my bed time. So on Friday morning it took me approximately 7 seconds to get dressed - throwing on the first pieces I found after snoozing my alarm 3 times and forgetting I had a 9am call (safe to say I stayed off camera for that call). When we headed after work for a mooch around the neighbourhood and to grab bits for dinner, I turned over the waistband on my pants a few times (fancied a more cropped style to show a little ankle - cheeky, right?), popped on a necklace and felt a little more put together.
Saturday
On the menu:
Tasting notes:
Saturday we had a lunch reservation at Ornella in London Fields, our old neighbourhood that we love & miss dearly! I haven’t worn this white gathered top much this summer, surprisingly as I lived in it last year. So I felt like giving it some airtime alongside one of my fave purchases from earlier in the summer - these Zara linen blend pants. I first spotted them on one of Gabrielle Zara round ups and hunted them down. They did not disappoint! I love the sheen they have, and a slightly dropped crotch. Plus, they have pockets on the front which adds a little bit of interest. Anyway, Ornella was unreal, 11/10, cannot wait to return kind of vibes. Beautiful interiors, but most importantly outstanding food! You must add it to your London list.

Sunday

Tasting notes:
Which brings me to today, and essentially leaving the house in pyjamas! We’ve had a lovely day, which started off with a long morning walk to a new bakery, a trip to V&A East and then a spot of shopping in Central for a few bits for our upcoming trip to France. It was a bold move to do all of the above (mostly the trip into Central) in an all white outfit, but I can share that I came out of this unscathed. I feel like we are all loving an all white, relaxed, slouchy summer fit and I love that for us. Very effortless, very chic.
Thanks so much for reading and sticking around while I was awol. I hope I gave you some outfit inspo, and that I can be a little more consistent around here for the remainder of the summer. As always, appreciate you being here!

I really love Saturdays outfit, simple but so interesting with the trouser colour and the gathered top. Have screen shot for inspo!
I love your outfit diaries! Love the statement ring!! May I ask what size you got in the Uniqlo JW Anderson jeans? They look amazing on you! x
